The ideal scenario to use this technique is when you think you can shift your own checkers faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer chips on the game board; 2) all your checkers have moved beyond your opponent’s checkers; or 3) your opponent does not use the hitting or blocking strategy.
The Blocking Game Strategy
The primary goal of the blocking strategy, by the name, is to block your competitor’s checkers, temporarily, while not worrying about shifting your chips quickly.
